Towing Issues: towing a 1999 ranger, rv suppliers, tow dolly

 I have a 1999 ford ranger two wheel drive with an automatic transmission.Someone is interested in towing this behind an RV.Can this be done without having to dis-connect the drive shaft?

well without using a tow dolly where the rear drive wheels are on a trailer, I would say no to towing it behind an RV with the drive wheels on the ground.  

I know there are some sort of transmission disconnects which are available from RV suppliers.. I am not real familiar with them however.
