Towing Issues: CAR TOWED FROM APARTMENT, small claims court, apartment complexes

Question
I live at an apartment complex. I recently bought a used car from an auction; the auctioning company provided a temporary tag.  I waited about one month for the title from the auction company and the company gave me a new temporary tag.  In the meantime the car was towed at the request of the property manager citing that the tag was improper.  I live in Georgia and I am a legal resident of the apartment complex.  Is this legal?  And, what are my rights?

Answer
Well, since some apartment complexes do have provisions in lease agreements reqarding vehicles and the proper tagging of them. Some specify how many vehicles you can have, some say they have to be licensed and insured.. Some have provisions for them being operational.

Is that legal, yes as they own the property and as such can set rules (as long as they do not violate state or federal laws).

If they owner/ manager is not willing to work with you regarding the tow and if its legal or not, then you can always go the small claims court route.
