Towing Issues: tow yards, towing trailers, tow company

is there a limit that a tow company can charge you if they have your car for more then two months

Since you have not provided me with any details, this is easy.  No.  I do not know where you are (city/state/country), if this was a break-down or impound tow or if you want your car back.

It is really irrelevant since I know absolutely NOTHING about tow company policies or regulations.  I deal only with towing cars behind motorhomes and with towing trailers.  Had you taken 30 seconds to look at my profile before you asked the question, you would have noticed the UNDERLINED sentence reading: " Please note: I can not answer questions about enforcement towing and tow trucks. "  

Don't feel alone in this, half of the questions I receive are way outside my expertise.
