Toyota Repair: Trans Fluid

I have an 03 Camry 3.0L I'm doing a drain and fill on the transmission. It calls for T-IV, I ordered fluid online because I live outside the US and cannot get here. The company sent ATF WS, is that a new replacement for T-IV or did they just sent the wrong fluid?

Hello, the WS fluid is not the same it is used in later model transmissions which require a different type of fluid, the type IV and WS do not mix very well so it is not recommended to use it instead of type IV
You can use Valvoline MAXLIFE which is a universal fluid and works well for type IV applications.
