Toyota Repair: high idle

Question
I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma with a lil over 200,000 miles on it, it has a 2.7, with a manual transmission, when I start it it idles fine but after warmed up it idles 1,000 rpms higher then it should, any ideas what would cause that? I thought it might be the mass air flow sensor but not sure.

Answer
Hello, it's more likely the idle air control valve is sticking, it's located on the bottom of the throttle body, remove it for inspection, sometimes the carbon can be cleaned out and restored to working order but if it's stuck it will most likely have to be replaced.
