Toyota Repair: check engine and trac off warning lights

Question
QUESTION: i have a 2013 toyota tudra. The other night i hit a bump in road and check engine light and trac off warning lights came on and are still on. Tried turning vehicle off and restarting and have tried ever button i could find. What could be problem and what could fix this. Please help i am desperate

ANSWER: Hello, the VSC and TRAC lights turn on due to the engine light being on, the first thing is to get the diagnostic codes from the computer, you can do this yourself if you have a diagnostic code reader or if you are interested in having one for this and future check engine lights you can get one from auto parts stores and even Wal-Mart for around 460.00/
You can also visit an Autozone, O'Reilly, Advance Auto, they offer to do this at no charged, after you get the code number information you can reply to me here again and I will be able to offer a solution.

QUESTION: I went to advanced auto where they got the diagnostic code for me . The reader showed code p2714- pressur control solenoid stuck off. Advanced auto is great. When i went there the employees were more than willing to do this for me!

Answer
Hello, first I must apologize for a small mistake of the price of the diagnostic tool, it is supposed to read $60.00 not 460.
Anyway, there is a service bulleting from Toyota about this code, depending on mileage this may still apply to your truck, the powertrain warranty is 5years/60,000 miles, here is a text from a previous answer I gave for this same code:

Toyota has a service bulletin for this trouble code TC017-07, it may be necessary to replace the transmission and to reprogram the control module but first you should have the fluid level checked as this could also cause this code. The transmission is sealed and requires a special procedure to verify fluid level, in case the transmission is the problem the warranty coverage is 5yrs/60,000 miles so I would recommend that you contact the Toyota dealer for assistance on this. Here is an excerpt from the bulletin.....
