Toyota Repair: Odometer flashing

hello there
i bought a 2007 Seqouia about a year ago. the Odometer reading keeps flashing. It has a digital odometer. so the actual miles on the car keep blinking. any insight on how to fix this is appreciated.

It's most likely a internal problem with the unit, the speedo assembly may need to be replaced, I'm pretty sure it comes separately. You can also remove the instrument cluster and check the circuit board at the back for burned segments or loose ground point nuts and the electrical connectors on the back.
