Toyota Repair: 1999 landcruiser

Question
I found a 1999 Land Cruiser with 45000 miles on it. I was wondering if you know anything about that particular year and Are miles that low a bad thing or a good thing. it is owned by a very wealthy doctor who has several of them and he is telling me that's why it has low mileage.  He said he did regular oil changes and he replaced the fuel pump and timing belts already. I would appreciate any feedback you have. Thank you

Answer
The best advise I can give you is to check with a Toyota dealer by providing the VIN# for a repair history report or get a carfax report, doing this would turn up any chronic issues or major repairs or accidents, another suggestion would be to have the car inspected by a dealer or good repair shop. These things are built like tanks and both engines and transmissions are pretty reliable when maintained, at this mileage there should be no surprises down the road other than normal maintenance.
