i have the exact same low idle problem with my 2009 corolla-S.

was there any more follow up to this along your journeys yet? i dont have any engine light come on, so do you think i'll still need to replace the throttle body?

A malfunction of the throttle body will turn a check engine light on, if the light is on most idle problems can be cured by cleaning the throttle body, if the light is on please let me know the diagnostic code numbers, there was also a recall issued by Toyota to replace some parts that help idle during cold weather, contact the Toyota dealer with your VIN# to check for any open recalls for your Corolla,
