Toyota Repair: hard start when hot, fuel pressure regulator, pressure gauge

1985 4runner 22rec. starts fine when cold in the morning after setting out in the heat all day it takes at least 35 seconds to 1 min some times longer before it will start i've all ready fried a starter. could it be Circuit opening relay

This may be due to a malfunction of the cold start injector or the injector time switch or fuel pressure regulator, before replacing anyhting I would check fuel pressure when the problem is happening, a pressure gauge can be connected to the cold start injector fitting
