Toyota Repair: Rack and pinion., power steering racks, lexus dealer

Sir,
I am told to replace my rack and pinion of the cruiser that is leaking as per the Toyota mechanic in Doah Qatar . The car has done 150000 kilometers and never been abused.Since fixing of a new was recomended as they do not replace the seals my question is how much does this part cost for GXR land cxruiser 2006 modle V6. Should i go in with only seal replacement or do i need to replace the whole part and what would be the average cost for a new Rack and pinion assembly.

It is not recommended to repair power steering racks, they are usually replaced, considering your location I'm not sure what the cost would be, they are normally sold in the US for about $400 USD from an aftermarket source, not a toyota or lexus dealer
