QUESTION: I adjusted throttle cableS ,,is that an e.c.t.transmission? Does the I.a.c the m.a.f. and one or both of the coolant sensors co.control the shift points or overdrive? Are the valves in fact, supposed to be loud? Is a loose valve netters than a tight valve? Will this cause premature wear?

Answer
NA
NA
Most likely it is the ect transmission if it has the ECT power button on the console, this engine doesn't use an IAC valve it has a throttle contro motor, these rarely go bad,the tps can control shift points, the coolant temp sensor can cause a delay of overdrive.
I'm attaching an illustration of the correct adjustment of the throttle pressure cable. The valves should not be loud, they may need to be readjusted.
