Toyota Repair: Idle Air Control Valve, air control valve, toyota camry

Question
My 92 toyota camry has over 100,000 miles. In the last few days it has started stalling out on me when I come to a stop or make a turn. It was suggested to me that it could be the iac. How do I locate this valve and check to see if this is the culprit? If you have other suggestions that would be great as well. Thanksw

Answer
The IAC valve is located on the bottom of the throttle body, removing the throttle body from the intake is required to remove the valve from it, it can then be cleaned using a carbon remover spray and a brush, the moving vlave should be checked for binding or sticking after cleaning it, the spring loaded revolving valve should be able to be moved open and it should go to almost fully closed position, clean teh inside of the throttle body as well.
