Toyota Repair: Fuse location, toyota 4runner, fuse box

Question
My Q is similar to one i found posted, so I used some of the text: The third break lght, Tag lite and fron side running lights on my 1995 Toyota 4Runner Limited stopped working.  I have an auto transmission. I tried checking the fuses, but the fuse box under the hood and the other one inside the cab near the clutch do not seem to house the fuse for theses lights, besides those all look OK.  I noticed in the manual that there is another fuse box behind the glove compartment, but have had trouble gaining access to this fuse box.  Do you know if this is where the fuse to the backup lights are located? Does it sound like the fuse might be the problem, or should take into the shop to fix or is it a relatively painless process.  I am decently competent with mechanical things, but do not want to screw up the electrical system.  There have been no prior electrical problems with the truck.

Answer
It sounds like something more than a fuse issue, There is no seperate fuse for the lic plate light or the third brake light. If the truck has a trailer hitch with wiring I would suspect that the problem may be there, if it has disconnect the trailer wiring from the main wiring and see if the problem is solved.
