Toyota Repair: transmission leak at shifter, rubber gasket, vent tube

Where can I find the transmission breather tube to check if it is clogged on a 1992 Toyota 22re 5 speed pick up?  I have a transmission fluid leak at the shifter.

That is a common leak and not related to the vent tube, which by the way is located at the top of the transmission near the bellhousing, the problem is the shift tower gasket, remove the console and the shifter by taking off the six 12mm bolts that hold the shift tower on, remove and replace the rubber gasket.
