Toyota Repair: Fuel delivery problems, pickup 4x4, injector pulse

Question
I have a 1988 Toyota pickup 4x4 with a 22 re 4 cyl. Fuel is not making it to the cylinders. I replaced the fuel pump and filter. Fuel is making it to the fuel filter. The truck will start some times but when it doesn't start the cylinders and spark plugs are dry. I have checked all electrical and it is good. Could there be a problem with the fuel rail or injectors? If so how can I check? Or is there something I need to check? The truck is turning over fine and sparking. Thanks for your help.

Answer
Check for fuel injector pulse voltage, first check for steady voltage with the key on, one wire of the injector should always be hot, the other wire is grounded on/off by the ECU. After that get a small test light made for injector stests, they are available at most autoparts stores, disconnect one of the injector connectors and plug the light i, cranking the engine should cause the light to flash, let me know the result.
