Toyota Repair: shift solenoid location for 1998 toyota camry, toyota camry, solenoids

We need to replace the shift solenoid on a 1998 toyota camry. can you explain where this is located on the vehicle????

There are about three or four solenoids on this transmission, what are the diagnostic codes that were in the computer? What model transmission is it? You can find this information on the VIN sticker on the door, it should be something like A/TM 540-E. Usually a shift solenoid code comes up because of contaminated transmission fluid or a major transmission problems which can clog the solenoids  and replacing solenoids usually does not fix the problem.
