Chrysler Repair: 90 imperial security alarm: disable, mechanical cluster, imperial security

Question
QUESTION: Roland.. I have the same problem vwith my sons car.. I cannot get the factory alarm to disarm from either doors. I need to do the pin touch method from the module. His car has a digital dash. What two wires do I look for at the module to dis arm. AZfter I disarm I want to disable the system for good. Do I unplug all wires from module while running to achive this. Will the electric door locks still work after..Any other problems that could happen asd a result from disabling the module? Thanks for your help
Mike

ANSWER: Hi Mike,
You have it correctly. The digital cluster makes no difference. Just get the disarm to occur and then pull the single plug from the module while the engine is running. That puts an end to the theft feature. Ground either pin 8 or pin 15 (dark green/orange or light green orange) to a convenient ground or to pin 10 (bkack/light green, also a ground wire) to cancel the armed condition. The power door locks and everything else should be unaffected.

QUESTION: Roland;
In your responce to Cathy's same question, you stated that if her car had a digital dash instead of an analog dash then the wires to disarm the alarm were different than pin 10 ground and pin 8 dark green/orange

Answer
Hi Mike,
I don't have the reference to Cathy's question, was it a '90 AC/AY-body?
In any case I gave you the pins and colors for the digital dash set-up, and by the way those are identical for the mechanical cluster alarm plug as well. Just insert pins in the insulation of the wires and then touch the pins together to get the diarm action.
