hi i have a 93 toyota pick up 4 wheel drive 22re 2.4 lit 5 speed exstended cab with manual locking hubs my question is im trying to change the passenger side bearing in the front differential is it possible to do so with out dropping the whole thing out of the truck. If so how do U take out the oil slinger that sits in front of the bearing. and if u cant and i need to take it out witch direction does the bearing come out punch it in or pull it out.

The differential side bering race is pressed into the housing and the roller is pressed onto the differential cartrier, the differential has to be removed and disassembled to replace the side bearing, also special tools and a hydraulic press are required.
