Toyota Repair: A.I.P assembly replacement, powertrain warranty, tundra sr5

Question
I have an 07 Tundra SR5 V8 TRD 4x4 and I keep getting the codes P2440 and P2443 set.  The truck goes into Limp mode and the dealer is telling me that the parts are $1100.00.  I want to do the work myself because I can't afford to have the dealer fix it.  I don't know what parts I need as far as do I need both pumps and the valve system or just one pump or just the valve.  With Gas being what it is I need to save all the money I can.  I have heard that you can take the pumps apart and clean them and they should work.  Can I do that and if so how? I have asked Toyota for assistance with only the out of warranty answer.  If you could give me a step by step on how to fix these problems as well as a tools list that would be great. I use my truck to earn a living for my family and need to be back on the road asap.  Thanks for your help.

Answer
Some 2007 – 2008 model year Tundra and 2008 model year Sequoia vehicles may exhibit a MIL
“ON” condition with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P0418, P0419, P2440, P2441, P2442, P2443,
P2445, and/or P2447. This concern may be caused by water intrusion into the air injection pump
assemblies.
