Toyota Repair: Mouse in 2007 Toyota Corolla, 2007 toyota corolla, toyota corolla

Question
I have a mouse somewhere in my 2007 Toyota Corolla...there was some nest material/grass in my glove box and every time I run the defroster or heater there is a powerful rank smell.  I found bird feed on several places on my engine too (probably feasted before making his home in the car). Should I take the car in my dealership to see if any damage was done to wires or engine and of course, to remove the critter if he is still alive or dead? Don't know if I should contact insurance company too.

Answer
I would definetely contact the insurance company to ask if they cover these types of incidents, since the rodent can be stuck in a very inaccessible place in the air ducting I would recommend having the toyota dealer handle this for a thourough inspection of the wiring harnesses, they'll make a recommendation and give you an estimate and then you can present this to your insurance company.
