Toyota Repair: Chech engine light, radiator flush, toyota corolla

Have a 1997 toyota corolla,86,000 miles, runs great, no problems. I took it in for a simple oil change, radiator flush and transmission flush (routine, nothing major). Two days later my check engine light came on. Is there something they could or could not have done to cause my light to come on????.

I don't think so, it may just have happened anyway, can you take it to an autoparts store like autozone, kragen, O'Reilly, they will usually scan the car's computer for you for free and offer a suggestion to what it may be or you can reply back and give me the code number and I can help with this.
