Question
how do you remove the rear seat of a 1998 avalon
i've tried to lift up the seat but it won't come out
do i just need to pull harder and where are the clips
that hold it

There is nothing except two clips holding the seat down,they can be difficult to pop up, insert a large flat prybar between thye seat on each side, there are two clips on each side about 12 inches from the end of the seat, pry between the seat and the floorpan metal to pop them loose.
