Toyota Repair: no lights 83 corolla, corolla wagon, fuse panel

Dear Sir;
I lost running lights, plate light and dash lights, at the same time.  1983 Corolla Wagon, 100k miles auto.
Fuses check ok. Today I will troubleshoot with test light, look for shorts and ground problems. I suspect you know the most likely fix.

Make sure the fuse marked "tail" in the fuse panel is good, check it with the teat light on both sides. If the brake lights are working it means the wire harness to the rear is probably ok, your tail lights and parking lights are probably out as well, is this so?
