Toyota Repair: 93 camry trans., sensor locations, happy new year

Ted, whats up buddy HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I recently purchased a 93 camry with4cyl.are any other years besides 93 that i can use transmission from and if so what connectors or whatever do i need to swap?????????thanx

First identify which transmission transmission you have, this information can be found on the VIN sticker on the driver's door. It will say something like A140E, this should also be on the transmission on a tag, these number have to match with the replacement transmission. 1992 to 1994 should be interchangeable, just make sure the sensor locations and all electrical connectors for the neutral start switch are the same and all other sensors are in the same position.
