Toyota Repair: 1994 Toyota Truck 3VZ starts missing at 2250 rpm, jumper wires, blown fuse

Question
I was trying to troubleshoot the EGR Temp sensor and when I finished, the truck will start fine, run OK at lower engine speeds but once it reaches 2250rpm, it will die out, but recover once it is below 2250.  It will do this with not load or while driving.  When I was working with some jumper wires with the EGR temp sensor, I accidentally touched the positive terminal of the battery, the ground was disconnected at the time, but there was a small spark.  Thanks a lot for any help.

Answer
If this happened after the incident with the battery there may be a blown fuse so you should check all the fuses both inside and under the hood, if this problem was there before then I would recommend replacing the fuel filter, it's located under the passenger front door inside the frame rail.
