Toyota Repair: CEL/VSC lights 2001 highlander, air fuel ratio, loose hose

Question
Hi,

I recently had my 2001 highlander in to toyota because of the CEL/VSC lights on, after they charged me 99.00 to tell me it was a P1155 code and it would cost 450.00 for fix. I decided to see if I could do it myself...I changed the Bank2sensor 1 with a Bosch replacement and the CEL cleared out but the VSC stayed on and today the CEL came back on ...I looked up more info and saw sometimes it is from a loose hose running to air filter which I just checked and I had one completely off so I reattached it...my concern is that could I have changed the wrong sensor...if so my husband my kill me:) since I was positive I had the right one

Answer
That code is for the air/fuel ratio sensor bank 2 sensor 1 which is located in the exhaust manifold near the radiator(assuming this is a V-6) is this the one that was replaced if so it's the correct one. The hose being off will set a different code, if the light is still on remove the negative battery terminal for a minute and see if it stays off for a few days, if it comes back there is another problem.
