Question
i have a 94 toyota hilux 22re and it just died out a few days ago, i checked the fuses, spark, and fuel they all checked out.
i tried another computer cox and the truck started but now its have a problem idling and when i push the pedal in it starts to sputter, also if no gas is given a few seconds later the truck will shake and die out.

well today a friend ran his diagnostic and its showing code 24 and 31.
i looked it up and its (CODE24)IAT SENSOR SIGNAL(CODE31)Air Flow Meter signal (Vacuum Sensor signal).

need help on the next step to take..

Answer
The IAT sensor rarely gives problems but the airflow meter can be in this case. The IAT sensor is built into the airflow meter housing and not replaceable. Another thing to check first are the connections at the meter, make sure the terminals are clean and not bent and there is no wiring damage. My recommendation would be to replace the airflow meter.
