Toyota Repair: 1995 Camry 2.4 P0138 code, drive shaft, sensor wires

Question
TED: I own a 95 Camry with 96k miles, the toyota dealer changed the cat at 75k. No problems untill now 96k the P0137 code showed up I found the number 2 sensor wires had rubbed on the drive shaft. Purchased a new sensor from NAPA, replaced, ran good for 3 days then code P0138 showed up. I checked the part number and verified it was a correct part for my USA made 05 Camry. Could it be bad new sensor?

Answer
Can you recheck the code numbers again? The 138 doesn't come up in my list of DTCs, are you using the diagnostic connector under the hood or the one inside, according to my information the 1995 model camry still had OBD I, check the label under the hood and let me know if it's OBD I or II compatible.
