Toyota Repair: oil change warning light, odometer reading, warning light

Hi Ted, can you please provide the procedure to disable the "oil change warning light" on my 2007 Camry 4 cyl? There are conflicting instructions on the internet.

That's because there are a couple of ways to do this, so I'm going to give you both to try, toyota changed the procedure for some years and models, so here is the most common way to reset the maint reqd light:
turn the key on
cycle the trip reset button to show the odometer reading
push the trip reset button and hold it in
turn the key off and back on
the odometer display will flash some lines
wait until the odometer numbers come back
release the button.
If that doesn't work do the same procedure EXCEPT start with the odometer showing TRIP A.
