Toyota Repair: 1997 Toyota Camry, 4 cyl. automatic, toyota camry, oil leak

I was told by Sears Auto when I took my car in for usual maintenance that there is an oil leak behind the motor or engine....they were very vague about it and I don`t even know what to tell the mechanic when I take it to him. I haven`t had any trouble with this car ever and it runs great.....has 159,000 miles on it approximately.  I am wondering if this is critical or if I can wait about it.  Thank you.

How big of a leak; a couple of drops every now and then, a quart every couple of hundred miles?
Where is the leak coming from; valve cover, rear main seal?

If it is a small leak, then I wouldn't worry about it; just continue to monitor it.
