Toyota Repair: Sliding Camry Key into Ignition, new wafers, lock cylinder

Question
I have a '99 Camry LE with 145,000 miles. Recently had a problem sliding the key into the ignition. It seems to stick. I'll pull it out, flip the key over, and sometimes that solves the issue. Lately though, the flipping has not worked on the first try. Once the key is fully into the ignition, I can turn it easily and the car starts. I have not taken it anywhere for repair. Thanks for your help!

Answer
It may be just a worn key, first have the toyota dealer or locksmith make a new key using the VIN# on your registration, if that doesn't help then the lock cylinder should be replaced or it can be removed and taken apart and new wafers installed to make the key work, this is called rekeying the cylinder.
