may exhibit a M.I.L. “ON” with at least one of the following DTCs as a result of an Air Fuel
(A/F) Sensor manufacturing issue.
P0031 (Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low [Bank 1, Sensor 1])
P0051 (Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low [Bank 2, Sensor 1])
P2238 (Oxygen Sensor Pumping Current Circuit Low (for A/F Sensor)
[Bank 1, Sensor 1])
P2241 (Oxygen Sensor Pumping Current Circuit Low (for A/F Sensor)
[Bank 2, Sensor 1])

QUESTION: Before replacing O2 sensor, replaced bank1 spark plugs necessitating removal of air plenum, throttle body, etc. (Bank 2 plugs were changed previously).

Next replaced O2 (upstream) sensor1, bank1.
Cleared codes P0031,P2338. Drove car ~75 miles with no problems.
Codes did not reset.

All sensors now show ready, except evap which shows incomplete on scanner.

However, next day (after 75 mile trip), trac off and VSC lights came on after starting and moving the car. Do not see any unconnected electrical plugs or hoses. Hose routing appears to be correct.

Trac off and VSC lights now always on after starting and moving car.

Answer
Trac/Vsc lights on without the check engine light on are specific to those systems, can you check for DTCs in those systems and let me know what they are? This model does not monitor TRAC/VSC systems, since the lights come on right after satarting there may be an open circuit from one of the sensors or possibly the deceleration/yaw rate sensor calibration is undone and needs to be recalibrated, this may happen after the check engine light has been on and then cleared.
