Toyota Repair: 1994 4 runner codes, vehicle speed sensor, head gasket

Question
after jumping the TE1 and E1 terminals i get the following code
one flash followed by four flashes followed by two flashes
the light had never came on before on the vehicle but this time the 4 runner had been sitting for about 5 months in wet weather. I live in the PNW. also prior to this we had to replace the head gasket and now the truck is idling at lot faster than it used especially at warm up. any ideas?  thanks

Answer
Trouble codes are always two digits, it's either a 14 or 42. The 14 code would indicate a problem with the igniter module, the 42 is a vehicle speed sensor code, neither one of those would cause a high idle, the idle is adjustable with a screw located on the throttle body. At this time try clearing the light by disconnecting the battery and see if it comes back on.
