Toyota Repair: Disc Brakes - 99 Toyota Camry, toyota camry, high pitch

Question
I just changed rotors and pads on the front.  Now I hear a low drone noise (not a squeak, or high pitch) that gets louder the faster I drive.  The rotors were so hot (after 5 miles) I burned my finger touching them.  The problem is on both sides. Advance Auto says they are the correct parts and said the problem is the calipers are not releasing, could it be the pads with the clips are reversed (on the outside not inside)?  Could it be that when I compressed the piston on the caliper that now they need bleeding? Or does it appear I need to replace the calipers after all?  Thanks in advance, Take Care, Mike

Answer
Calipers rarely cause problems so I think the problem may be incorrect pads or they are installed wrong, recheck them, make sure the wheels can turn without binding up, pump the brake a few times and see if the calipers release. If nothing can be found try a set of OEM pads from the dealer, make sure the shims are installed on the backside of the pads not on the rotor side.
