Toyota Repair: camry rear main seal, air powered tools, camry

how difficult and how long would it take to change the rear main seal on a 96 camry...i am in my 50s and worked on all my own cars for years but now  many are too confusing .. i give this info so you know that i am at least mechanically inclined.  thank you so much for youre time

The transmission can be removed without removing the engine, pretty difficult unless you have a car hoist and even then a difficult job, the subframe has to be removed and the engine supported, it usually takes about 5 hours using all the tools available in the shop, I would not recommend doing this without a hoist and the tool to support the engine, air powered tools and a transmission jack.
