Toyota Repair: Highlander service, cabin air filter, mile intervals

Question
My 2007 Highlander has 30,000 miles and the manual says it needs only oil change, cabin filter and engine filter. What about transmission service and coolant service? When are they needed? Also, last time I was at dealer they said I should have a power steering flush, which I declined. What do you think?

Answer
Here is what you should really have done at 30,000 miles, change the oil and filter, replace the air filter, replace the cabin air filter, rotate the tires and inspect the brakes, adjust brakes if applicable and just have a visual inspection of everything else. It shouldn't need anything else, the coolant is super long life(SSL) it doesn't need to be replaced until 100K,the transmission uses toyota type T-IV fluid which is changed at 60,000 mile intervals, power steering flush? No, not until at least 100,000 miles, maybe.
