Toyota Repair: 1997 toyota corolla dx, toyota corolla, airbag deployment

i am repairing a toyota corolla i wrecked that was promised to my daughter. i need to know the location of the airbag module andis this the only thing that controls the airbag deployment? thanks for any help.

The center air bag sensor is located under the radio and front center console mounted to the floorboard, you may be able to access the mounting bolts by pulling back the carpeting on both sides in the center, you will be able to see the module, there are two bolts on one side and one bolt on the left. The sensor receives and impact signal from the left and right impact sensors mounted near the front of each fender, when the impact sensors detect an impact it will cause the center air bag sensor to deply the air bags.
