ANSWER: I may be able to help with this, electrical problems are difficult to diagnose without being able to access the vehicle, can you identify the fuse for me by looking at the inside of the fuse cover, is it the EFI fuse? Has anything been done to the engine recently, any repairs or maintenance, battery replaced? Jump started?

Answer
Have you checked the wiring to see if any were burned? There is a white/red wire that comes from the EFI relay, this is where the short may be, this wire supplies a lot of the electrical compnents on the engine with voltage including the oxygen sensors in the exhaust, check undeneath to make sure none of the wires are shorted out to one another or ground. Located the diagnostic check connector under the hood and with the key off check the B+ terminal with an ohm meter to ground, if there is a direct short the resistance will be near zero ohms.
