Toyota Repair: 1987 pickup 22R engine, stud bolt, bolt hole

Question
It appears that the exhaust manifold is leaking due to a missing stud/bolt. There is an empty bolt hole at the top/front of the manifold, not quite under the heat shield. Should there be a bolt in this hole? I can't find a picture in our manual that would show this.
This is a replacement engine that has only about 5,000 miles on it.

Answer
Yes there should be a stud with a nut there, these engines had a habit of pulling these studs out, the solution is to remove the manifold and installing metal inserts or heli-coils in the cylinder head where the studs go and replacing all the studs and lock nuts.
