Toyota Repair: Toyota Front Engine Seals, engine seals, necessary thanks

Question
I'm having the timing belt replaced per Toyota recommendation on my '02 Tundra and got a quote including replacing the front engine seals if leaking ($111) and replacing the timing belt bearings if worn or have lost lubrication ($158.)  I haven't seen anything about either of these items on any of Toyota's recommended services.  Someone told me the seals are meant to last forever.  What is your experience?  The timing belt and water pump are expensive services and I really can't afford to do anything that isn't necessary.  Thanks for your help.

Answer
Unless the seals are leaking leave them alone, the idler and tensioner bearings last much longer than 100,000 miles, they are sealed bearings and don't lose lubrication, if the water pump shows signs of leaking replace it if not don't, just have the belt replaced and you'll be ok for another 90k.
