Toyota Repair: 1997 Corolla wont start, days of rain, secondary ignition

Hi,

Car was running perfectly fine. Next morning it drove and then quit. Started again and got home. Now, will only crank but not fire. FYI - we've had 3 straight days of rain and moisture. Could it be the wire harness?

Check the secondary ignition system, remove the distributor cap and the rotor, check both for cracks or burned areas, remove the plastic coil cover and check the coil for the same, it's very common for the coils to crack or ard to ground on these engines.
