Toyota Repair: Antenna Repair, antenna mast, inner fender

I read your response pertaining to antenna repair ('99 4runner on 11/30/2004).I've the same problem.  If need to remove and disassembly please convey. Thanks, Ted.

Most of the time the antenna mast can just be pulled ou throught top after removing the top nut and turning the radio on. If part of the mast is stuck inside the motor then the inner fender liner has to be remove to get to the antenna motor. The antenna lead does not disconnect at the antenna so the motor has to be opened up right there to get the broken piece of the antenna out.
