Toyota Repair: window relay?, 4runner, screwdriver

I believe the power window relay is bad in rear door of my 1990 4Runner. The problem is I cannot get to the relay unless I can open the door. The door won't open until the window goes down. The window won't go down because the relay is bad. How do I bypass the relay?

This has been a common problem over the years. Its the motor, broken wire, or switch. I've called inside the vehicle more then once. You need to remove the door panel from the inside which is fun. Then you must release the latch with a screwdriver or apply power to the motor
with a 12 volt jump box.
