Answer
Vasu: Two thoughts there well maybe more like three. First off go out and buy a repair manual for your car. Most parts stores have them. Or else check on line and buy one there. They cost around $20.00 and worth the money. But my ideas for the smoke could be do to the fact that your car is burning up one or more of its belts. Belts are black in color and would be on that side of the engine. The smoke starts when the car starts and stops when the engine is shut off. Other wise it could be that the valve cover gaskets are leaking a bit of oil onto the engine and so causing the smoke that you see. Both those things are an easy fix. Either by yourself, by checking the belts to see if they are wearing down, in bad shape and with the valve cover gaskets see if oil is leaking down onto the tops of the stark plugs. I do hope this helps some and good luck! Linda
