QUESTION: yes i have a 22r-e 4cyl engine. it has started smoking. but i haven't seen any steam. would you please give me some ideas how to find the problem. thanks.

Answer
Your problem could mock several different conditions. Since you told me about the items that you replaced, maybe you have a broken head gasket. If this is so, you will see white smoke or steam coming from the tail pipe that will most likely smell like a sulfur smell. Remove the spark plugs again and look for wetness in the cylinders or on the spark plug itself.
