Toyota Repair: toyota corolla 92 overheats, coolant leak, toyota corolla


Question
I have an overheating problem with my car. The radiator started to heats up and boils water then evaporates the water through the reservoir.When the temperature gauge reached to almost 3/4, the fan will function but still the radiator continue to boil water.Is there something wrong with the fan or the radiator?

-Need your expertise to help me troubleshoot my car.

There are many reasons for an engine to overheat, it could be the thermostat, it could be a radiator that is partially restricted,there may be a coolant leak and in extreme cases a blown headgasket, at this point I would recommend replacing the thermostat to see if it helps.
