Toyota Repair: 1990 4-Runner, vacuum hoses, intake hoses

Question
I have a 1990 4-Runner and it started running real rough between the 0-1500 rpm range. I thought it maybe due to bad gas (ie water) so I treated the fuel but have had no improvement. The timing belt and idler arm were just replaced within a couple months. This truck has been a smooth runner but now if you let off the throttle it just dies. I know its a broad based question but any direction would be appreciated!

Answer
Check the air intake hoses between the air filter and the throttle body, check for any cracks or loose clamps, also check for any other large vacuum hoses that may have become disconnected, it sounds like there is a large vacuum leak on the intake system.
