I have a 1992 Camry, with 341,000 miles on it, and for the last month my airbag light stays on.  It has never been deployed.  I need to get a state inspection, and I don't think it will pass with this light staying on.  What can I do?

The air bag light is on because there is a problem with the system, it could be one of the impact sensors, the center airbag sensor, the airbag itself or a problem with wiring or connections. The first step would be to get the trouble code that is stored in the air bag computer, this will give a starting point in diagnosing the problem, the toyota dealer can get the codes for you as well as most auto repair shops.
