Toyota Repair: 2007 Camry Hybrid, camry hybrid, rear brakes

Question
My hybrid has a little problem when I first start the car and either go forward or go back (just at first, after I ride for awhile the problem leaves.)  The brakes seem to grind when I apply them.  Like I said it only happens at the beginning of my travel and than stops the rest of the time.  Do you think this could be a big problem?  I love my car otherwise.  Thanks for any help you can give me.

Answer
Depending on the mileage on the odometer it could be a brake problem, if it has around 20,000 miles on it or more you should have the dealer inspect the rear brakes, there have been premature wear issues as well as noise, Toyota has issued a service bulletin that addresses this concern( tsb-0385-08)it's covered under warranty for 3yrs/36,000 miles.
